The Voice is off to a strong start with its milestone 30th season.
The NBC singing competition drew 7.8 million viewers during its first seven days of availability, combining viewers who watched the Season 30 premiere live on NBC with those who streamed it later on Peacock.
The result marks the show’s biggest opening audience since Season 27, which aired in spring 2025. Compared with the Season 28 premiere, Season 30 opened with a 5% increase in its first week of availability.

The early numbers were even stronger when looking at the premiere’s first three days. The Season 30 opener was up 57% from the same period last year, making it the most-streamed episode of The Voice in the show’s history.
The premiere also reached a much larger audience across platforms. More than 19 million people watched at least part of the episode, while the show generated 337 million video views on social media in just five days.
Season 30 brings back familiar faces and two new coaches
Season 30 marks the return of longtime coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine, while Queen Latifah and Riley Green joined the coaching panel for the first time.
The season has so far focused on the Blind Auditions, where the four coaches compete to build their teams with singers they believe have what it takes to win.
The Blind Auditions are now moving toward the next major stage of the competition: the Battles.

The Battles will bring a new challenge
During the Battle Round, each coach will pair two artists from their team and choose a song for them to perform together.
The artists will also work with a superstar Battle Advisor as they prepare for their performances. Each coach will have one Steal available during the round, giving eliminated artists a chance to continue in the competition.
But the biggest changes are still ahead.

Cut Week will change the road to the Live Shows
Season 30 introduces Cut Week, which will create one of the biggest elimination rounds in The Voice history.
Each coach will send two artists directly to the Live Shows. The remaining five artists on each team will then compete for one final spot.
Once the Top 12 is determined, viewers will have another chance to influence the competition. America will vote for one additional artist to join the Live Shows, bringing the total number of live contestants to 13.
Voting will be available through text messages and TikTok, with the results revealed on the same night.

The Top 13 will compete for the Season 30 title
The final stage of Season 30 will be a six-week Live Show event.
The Top 13 artists will perform for viewers at home, who will vote for the singers they want to keep in the competition. Each week, artists with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated as the field gets smaller.
Eventually, one singer will receive the most votes and be crowned the winner of The Voice Season 30.
With its strong premiere numbers and record streaming performance, Season 30 is already giving NBC plenty of reasons to celebrate as the competition moves into its next stage.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, with episodes available to stream on Peacock the following day.
