Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s lavish wedding at Madison Square Garden may have been one of the most tightly guarded celebrity events in recent memory, but several employees reportedly lost their jobs after breaking the strict confidentiality rules surrounding the celebration.
The couple exchanged vows on July 3 during a star studded ceremony in New York City, an event that drew hundreds of celebrities, athletes and other high profile guests while transforming the iconic arena into an ultra private venue.

According to multiple reports, Madison Square Garden dismissed several staff members for violating non disclosure agreements that had been put in place to protect the privacy of the wedding.
Bloomberg News reporter Myles Miller also said on X that the venue enforced extraordinary security measures throughout the event.
According to Miller, everyone entering Madison Square Garden, including law enforcement officers assigned to work the wedding, had to surrender their phones before being allowed inside.
He added that guests, staff and security personnel were required to store their devices in sealed bags, and no unauthorized individuals were permitted inside the arena before the ceremony began.
Despite those precautions, some details from inside the wedding still emerged afterward.

Among the revelations was that Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony and reportedly performed an original song for the newlyweds.
The couple also chose family members instead of a traditional bridal party. Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, served as his best man, while Taylor Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, stood beside her as her “Man of Honor.” Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters also took part in the ceremony as flower girls.

Swift and Kelce exchanged vows wearing custom Christian Dior Haute Couture designs created especially for the occasion.
The celebration temporarily transformed one of Manhattan’s busiest neighborhoods as a steady stream of celebrities arrived at Madison Square Garden for what many fans described as the celebrity wedding of the year.
The guest list featured stars from across entertainment, fashion and sports, including Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn, Jessica Chastain, Dakota Johnson, Tate McRae, Benson Boone, Hugh Grant and Anna Eberstein, Jason Sudeikis, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, Camila Cabello, MGK, Maren Morris, Ellie Goulding, Tommy Hilfiger and Barbara Corcoran.

Professional football was also heavily represented.
Among the NFL figures linked to the celebration were George Kittle and Claire Kittle, Matthew Stafford and Kelly Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Mike Vrabel and his wife Jen, Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes, Kareem Hunt, Isiah Pacheco, Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Richard Sherman, Clyde Edwards Helaire, Kyle Juszczyk and Kristin Juszczyk.
Swift’s longtime publicist, Tree Paine, was also seen in Manhattan before the ceremony as final preparations were underway for what became one of the most talked about celebrity weddings of the year.
