Harry Styles had fans talking after choosing a song many have long associated with Taylor Swift during his concert at Wembley Stadium, with the performance taking place on the same day his former girlfriend married Travis Kelce.
The 32 year old singer surprised the London crowd on Friday, July 3, by performing “Two Ghosts” as the night’s special acoustic song during his Together, Together Tour.
The timing quickly caught fans’ attention because, just hours earlier, Swift, 36, had married Kelce, also 36, in a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Styles has made a habit of including a different surprise song at each stop on his tour, but many social media users wondered whether selecting “Two Ghosts” on Swift’s wedding day carried a deeper meaning.

The song has fueled speculation ever since its release in 2017, with many fans believing its lyrics were inspired by Styles’ brief romance with Swift.
The pair dated for several months between late 2012 and early 2013 before ending their relationship following a vacation in the British Virgin Islands.

Today, both have moved on. Styles is engaged to actress Zoë Kravitz, while Swift officially tied the knot with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce during a ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler.
Although Kravitz attended the wedding as one of Swift’s guests, Styles remained in London to continue his tour schedule.
Fans quickly filled X with reactions after learning which song Styles had performed.
“Harry Styles just sang Two Ghosts on Taylor Swift’s wedding day. What is happening!” one person wrote.

Another joked, “Singing Two Ghosts during her wedding day is objectively funny.”
Others took a lighter approach, with one fan humorously suggesting Styles was “spiritually there” to celebrate the occasion despite being thousands of miles away.
Another referenced Swift’s own lyrics, joking that Styles was the person who might “interrupt the wedding,” even though he was performing in London instead.
Speculation linking “Two Ghosts” to Swift has continued for years because of lines describing “same lips red, same eyes blue,” along with a chorus reflecting on two people who are no longer the same.

Likewise, Swift’s 2014 hit “Style” has long been widely believed by fans to reference her relationship with Styles, though neither artist has confirmed those interpretations.
During an interview in 2014, Swift spoke about the inspiration behind “Style,” describing it as a song about relationships that never seem completely finished.
She explained that many people have someone from their past who always seems to drift back into their lives, adding that it can sometimes feel like they could appear and object at your wedding because the story between them never truly ended.

Styles first rose to international fame as a member of One Direction before launching a successful solo career with chart topping hits including “Sign of the Times,” “Watermelon Sugar” and “As It Was.”
Meanwhile, Swift has remained at the center of headlines following the conclusion of her record breaking Eras Tour and her high profile wedding to Kelce.
The couple exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden wearing custom Christian Dior Haute Couture designs created by Jonathan Anderson. Swift completed her bridal look with Cartier jewelry and custom Christian Louboutin shoes.
