Now that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebration has come to an end, new details are offering a closer look at how the couple transformed Madison Square Garden into a surprisingly intimate setting for their July 3 ceremony.
As guests departed the iconic New York venue Friday night, more stories from inside the event began to emerge, revealing everything from the elaborate décor to the emotional vows and reception.
One of the most detailed accounts came from AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron, who described the wedding in a social media post that was later deleted.

According to Aron, the famous arena was almost unrecognizable.
He said nearly every surface, including the floors, walls and ceilings, had been covered in peach and white fabric. Guests were also greeted by oversized photos of Swift and Kelce from childhood through their teenage years, displayed throughout the venue.
Aron explained that one section of Madison Square Garden had been completely transformed into what felt like a peaceful countryside garden. Green and white decorations, fresh flowers and what appeared to be artificial trees surrounded a ceremony space with about 75 chairs arranged in 15 rows.

Although reports estimated that around 1,000 people attended the wedding, Aron said the setup made the celebration feel remarkably personal.
Before the ceremony started, soft romantic music filled the room until a small string ensemble featuring violins and a cello welcomed the wedding party.
According to Aron, Kelce wore a white tuxedo while Swift walked down the aisle in a white wedding gown with a dramatic long veil.

Without naming him directly, Aron also praised the ceremony’s officiant, who was later confirmed to be Adam Sandler. He described the officiant as funny, welcoming and eloquent, noting that he both spoke and sang during the ceremony.
The vows became one of the day’s standout moments.

Aron said the couple shared lengthy handwritten vows that reflected on how they first met, why they wanted to spend their lives together and the promises they were making as they united both the Swift and Kelce families.
He described the speeches as emotional, funny, heartfelt and deeply personal.

Throughout the ceremony, Aron said the couple’s affection for one another was impossible to miss. He even described their first kiss as a dramatic, “sweep you off your feet” moment.
The celebration continued with a reception that carried over the same garden inspired design. Aron said guests enjoyed outstanding food and drinks while music played throughout the evening.
“I wish you all could have been there with me, to witness real, pure, true joy,” he wrote.

Another glimpse inside the wedding came from Swift’s aunt, Robin Gentry, who briefly spoke with LBC News after leaving the celebration.
Laughing as she recalled the event, Gentry said the newlyweds cried, laughed, danced, hugged and kissed throughout the night.

Country singer Maren Morris also shared a keepsake from the wedding on social media. The custom handkerchief featured the couple’s wedding logo, the date and location of the ceremony, along with the lyric, “So it’s gonna be forever …” from Swift’s hit song “Blank Space.”

Although trucks and workers had been seen moving equipment into Madison Square Garden for several days, the couple kept the event tightly under wraps until after exchanging vows.
Following the ceremony, signs outside the arena turned pink and displayed the message “JUST&T MARRIED,” confirming the wedding had taken place.

Swift’s representative later shared additional details with PEOPLE, revealing that both the bride and groom wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture designs created in close collaboration with them. Their shoes were specially made by Christian Louboutin, while Swift completed her bridal look with Cartier jewelry.

The couple also chose to skip a traditional bridal party. Instead, Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her “Man of Honor,” while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, stood beside him as best man.
Leading up to the ceremony, reports suggested more than 1,000 guests had been invited, and many high profile attendees were spotted arriving at Madison Square Garden Friday evening. Guests began leaving around 10 p.m., while others remained at the reception into the early hours of Saturday.

Among those seen attending were Tom Hanks, Paul McCartney, Steven Spielberg, Paul Rudd, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, Danny Ramirez, Hugh Grant, Anna Elisabet Eberstein, Gracie Abrams, Adam Scott, Kelsea Ballerini, Ed Sheeran and Jennifer Lopez, underscoring the extraordinary star power gathered to celebrate the couple’s wedding day.
