The lively new track arrives as Green continues traveling across the country on his successful “Cowboy As It Gets Tour.” Packed with humor, traditional country charm, and a carefree spirit, the song offers listeners an early taste of what they can expect from the highly anticipated album.

Green recently shared that he and fellow songwriters Erik Dylan, Wyatt McCubbin, and Jessi Alexander completed the track in roughly twenty minutes. Green has frequently credited Keith as one of the most influential figures in his career. He explained that few artists have shaped his approach to songwriting more than the late country legend, often measuring songs against the standard Keith established throughout his career.

Adding to the emotional connection, “Think As You Drunk” incorporates elements from Keith’s hit song “As Good As I Once Was.” Before the release, Green’s team shared the track with Keith’s family and longtime associates.
