Andrea Bocelli is returning to the UK in 2027 for a special tour celebrating 30 years of Romanza, the landmark album that helped transform the Italian tenor into a global superstar.
The celebrated singer will bring the Romanza World Tour to Birmingham, London, Manchester and Glasgow next autumn, revisiting the music from one of the most important albums of his career.
Originally released in September 1997, Romanza marked a defining moment for Bocelli both professionally and personally. Among its most famous songs was “Con te partirò,” which later became internationally known as “Time to Say Goodbye” following Bocelli’s duet version with Sarah Brightman.
‘Romanza’ Became a Global Phenomenon

Released at a pivotal point in Bocelli’s career, Romanza helped establish the singer’s distinctive ability to combine operatic vocals with contemporary songwriting.
The album went on to become a worldwide success and is regarded as the best-selling Italian-language album, as well as the best-selling predominantly non-English-language album, of all time.
“Con te partirò” became particularly influential, growing into a global cultural phenomenon and helping introduce Bocelli’s voice to audiences far beyond the traditional opera world.
Three decades later, the tenor is returning to the UK to celebrate the album that played such a significant role in his international breakthrough.

“I love performing there, and I can’t wait to create some more magical moments with my fans.”
The tour will take Bocelli to four major UK venues, beginning in Birmingham before continuing to London, Manchester and Glasgow.
