Authorities have shared new details regarding the sudden passing of daytime television star Robert Kelker-Kelly, who died on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at age 62.
According to law enforcement reports obtained by TMZ, officers from the St. Peters Police Department in Missouri responded to a call at the actor’s home around 8:16 PM concerning an unconscious, non-responsive male experiencing a medical emergency. Responding emergency crews found Kelker-Kelly in bed, where someone on the scene was already administering CPR. Paramedics and police continued life-saving measures, but he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators stated that Kelker-Kelly had complained of severe chest pain shortly before losing consciousness. Police found no suspicious circumstances at his residence, confirming that the scene appeared entirely consistent with an unexpected medical event.
Kelker-Kelly rose to massive prominence in the daytime television industry when he stepped into the iconic role of Bo Brady on NBC’s Days of Our Lives in 1992.
