Gwen Stefani’s son Zuma Rossdale has given fans a glimpse into his childhood with a sweet birthday tribute to his mother, sharing a throwback photo that highlights their strikingly similar blond hairstyles.
Zuma, 18, posted the affectionate message on social media in honor of Stefani’s 57th birthday over the weekend. The photo showed him as a toddler in his mother’s arms, sporting a blond hairstyle reminiscent of the singer’s signature punk-inspired look.
“Happy Birthday to the greatest Mama ever @gwenstefani. I love you thank you for raising me the way I am!!!” Zuma wrote.
Stefani responded in the comments with a loving message of her own: “I love my baby.”
Fans were quick to react to the touching post, with one writing, “Omg stoppp this hit me right in the feels.” Another praised Zuma’s sweet gesture, while others joined in wishing Stefani a happy birthday.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s Three Sons

Stefani shares three sons with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, 60. The former couple married in 2002 and divorced in 2016. Their children are Kingston, 20, Zuma, 18, and Apollo, 12.
As the boys have grown older, some have begun exploring music, following in the footsteps of their famous parents and their stepfather, country star Blake Shelton, whom Stefani married in 2021.
Both Kingston and Zuma have made their stage debuts at Shelton’s Ole Red venue in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Zuma has also embraced country music, developing a musical style that reflects Shelton’s influence.
Kingston Rossdale Pursues His Music Career
Kingston has recently taken another step toward establishing himself as a musician, releasing his debut single, “Right Side of the Moon,” and working on an EP.
In an interview with Hit Parader, he described the effort he put into shaping his sound.
“I obsessed over tones so hard. Making this EP, literally like locking myself in the studio all day, all night, just trying to figure out each section piece by piece,” he said. “So, I feel really proud of the tones and the sound that I got.”
Kingston also credited his longtime girlfriend, Lola Albert, as a major source of inspiration. He explained that writing music about her was how his songwriting journey began.
“I write a lot of my music about her,” he said. “That’s how it all started. I wrote a song for her birthday and my friends heard and they’re like, ‘Oh, this is actually really good.’”
The positive response encouraged him to keep writing. Kingston said he now has around 200 songs and revealed that Albert visited the studio to watch the recording process. He added that she loves the EP and its songs.
Gavin Rossdale Is Proud of His Sons’ Musical Talents

Gavin has also spoken proudly about his sons’ growing interest in music.
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, the Bush frontman described the experience of hearing his children perform their own material as almost surreal.
He revealed that Kingston was recording his first record and praised Zuma’s abilities as a singer and songwriter.
“My other son Zuma is an absolutely brilliant singer and songwriter, and he played me a new song he wrote yesterday. It was so good,” Rossdale said.
He added that hearing his children share music they had created themselves was an extraordinary experience.
As Zuma’s birthday tribute celebrates his close bond with Stefani, it also offers a glimpse of a family whose next generation is beginning to carve out its own creative paths.
