A doctor who reportedly treated Queen Camilla and other members of the British royal family has been found dead at her home in Norfolk, England. Her husband, Mark Cain, has been arrested and charged with her murder, prosecutors announced Wednesday.
Hannah Cain, 45, reportedly suffered fatal injuries while hosting a sleepover for her three children on Sunday. The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation, and authorities have not disclosed a possible motive.
Doctor Suffered Head Injury and Possible Neck Compression

According to the reported findings, Hannah sustained a “blunt force injury to the right side of her head” as well as an injury “that could be suggestive of compression of the neck.”
The incident took place at the couple’s home in Dersingham, valued at approximately $1.1 million. The property is located about a mile from Sandringham Estate, where King Charles III and Queen Camilla have a residence.
The royal family has reportedly been informed of Hannah’s death. Buckingham Palace had not publicly commented at the time of the report.
A friend told The Sun that Hannah appeared unusually “stressed” and “distracted” during the school run a few days before her death. The friend reportedly described the behavior as out of character.
Husband Remains in Custody as Investigation Continues

Mark Cain, a director in the energy industry, has been charged with his wife’s murder and remains in custody. He has not entered a plea and is due to appear in court again on Thursday.
Detective Inspector Alix Wright said investigators were still working to establish what happened.
“We are in the very early stages of this investigation, working to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the woman’s death,” Wright said.
She also appealed to the public for assistance, asking anyone with potentially relevant information to contact investigators.
Authorities have not announced a motive, and the allegations against Mark remain subject to the legal process.
Colleagues and Community Pay Tribute to Hannah
Hannah’s death has prompted an outpouring of grief from colleagues, patients and members of the local community. Flowers have reportedly been left in tribute to the doctor.

Julie-Ann Rayner, a clinical administrator who said she had worked with Hannah for several years, remembered her as a compassionate professional who cared deeply about her family.
“She was an amazing doctor and an amazing person, really wonderful, really warm-hearted. She really cared about her family,” Rayner told the US Sun.
She added that the news had left those who knew Hannah in shock.

“It’s incredibly sad what’s happened. Everybody’s completely shocked,” she said.
Rayner also expressed concern for Hannah’s three children, saying, “I can’t stop thinking about her boys and what they must be going through.”
As the investigation continues, those who knew Hannah are remembering her for her work as a doctor and the warmth she brought to her professional and personal relationships.
