The danger surrounding Kayce Dutton and the Marshals team is far from over. After surviving the explosion that ended Marshals Season 2 Episode 5, Kayce and Andrea Cruz find themselves facing another potentially devastating threat in the next episode.
TV Insider has shared an exclusive first look at Season 2 Episode 6, titled “Secret Weapon,” which continues the two part storyline sparked by the previous episode’s cliffhanger.
The initial bombing was carried out by Rudy Carpenter, played by Braxton Hale. Kayce and Cal had encountered the survivalist in the Montana woods during Season 1 but allowed him to escape. Now, the team must track down a suspected accomplice believed to be carrying an even larger explosive.
Their investigation takes them to the home of a suspect’s family. However, the relatives’ deep distrust of the government makes it difficult for the Marshals to get the information they need.
The exclusive preview shows Kayce (Luke Grimes), Andrea (Ash Santos), Cal (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle (Arielle Kebbel), and Miles (Tatanka Means) conducting an armed search of the property. Inside, a mother and daughter appear unaware of the reason for the sudden police presence.

The situation becomes more complicated when two other male family members arrive with their hands raised, while the actual suspect makes a run for it. Andrea takes off after him, but the clip ends with a particularly unsettling moment: she appears terrified and falls silent after noticing something at the end of the scene.
The preview leaves the nature of that discovery unclear, adding another layer of suspense to an already dangerous investigation.
Titled “Secret Weapon,” the episode airs Sunday, November 1, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The following week, on November 8, Marshals will take a break as CBS airs its new series Cupertino.
The series also has a notable reunion coming up for fans of SEAL Team. Judd Lormand and Beau Knapp are set to make their Marshals debuts in the November 22 episode. SEAL Team creator Spencer Hudnut, who developed Marshals for CBS using characters from Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe, brings the connection between the two shows into focus.
Meanwhile, SEAL Team creator Benjamin Cavell has taken over as showrunner of Dutton Ranch following Chad Feehan’s departure at the end of its first season.
