Alan Jackson’s farewell concert was packed with country music stars, but one of the night’s most meaningful moments belonged to the people who have stood beside him long before he became a legend.

As the country icon closed out his touring career during “Last Call: One More for the Road, The Finale” at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Saturday, June 27, his wife Denise, their three daughters and other family members watched proudly from a private suite.

During the show, Jackson paused to acknowledge his family and reflect on the life they have built together over nearly five decades.
Calling Denise “a great partner for all we’ve been through,” Jackson looked back on the challenges they have faced throughout their marriage.
“It’s been a lot of stuff, and we’ve survived, and are happier than ever, thank goodness,” he told the crowd.

He then turned his attention to the next generation of the Jackson family, sharing that another grandchild was about to arrive.
“We have three wonderful daughters and son-in-laws, and now we’ve got 4.75 grandchildren,” Jackson joked as fans laughed and applauded. “One’s due any minute. She’s out there…I feel sad for her being here tonight, she’s about to go into labor with all this sound going on. Anyway, in a matter of minutes, we’ll have five grandchildren.”
The touching speech led directly into one of the most personal songs in Jackson’s catalog, “I’d Love You All Over Again.”
Released in 1991, the song was written as a gift to Denise for their 10th wedding anniversary and remains one of several love songs Jackson has dedicated to his wife throughout his career.
Alan and Denise are parents to three daughters, Mattie, Alexandra “Ali” and Dani, all of whom attended the farewell concert.
The couple became grandparents for the first time in 2022 when Ali and her husband, Sam Bradshaw, welcomed their son, Jackson Alvie.
Mattie and her husband, Connor Smith, expanded the family again with the birth of their son, Wesley Alan, in 2024, followed by daughter Charlotte “Charlie” Ann in 2026.

This year has been especially memorable for the Jackson family, with all three sisters expecting babies at the same time. After Mattie welcomed Charlie earlier this year, Ali also gave birth to a daughter named Parker. Dani is now preparing to welcome her first child, the baby Jackson told fans could arrive “any minute.”
The family celebration unfolded during an unforgettable farewell event that featured appearances from George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Luke Bryan and many other country stars paying tribute to Jackson’s remarkable career.
The concert officially marked the end of Jackson’s touring career, a decision influenced largely by his ongoing battle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. The progressive nerve disorder, which Jackson publicly revealed in 2021 after living with it for years, affects the nerves in his arms and legs, making walking, balancing and performing increasingly difficult.
Family also played a major role in his decision to leave the road behind. When announcing his final concert, Jackson explained that he was looking forward to spending more time at home with Denise, their daughters and their growing group of grandchildren.
“… I’m enjoying spending more time at home,” he said at the time. “But my fans always show up to have a good time, and I’m going to give them the best show I can for this Last Call.”
