Season 3 of My Life with the Walter Boys left fans with more questions than answers, and the stars of the Netflix drama aren’t exactly making those Season 4 theories disappear.

Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry, who play Cole and Alex respectively, have been watching the reactions to the latest season — including the many theories surrounding Cole’s fate after his devastating car accident.

The third season, released in August, left all three members of the show’s central romantic storyline facing major complications. After Cole breaks Jackie’s heart, Jackie, played by Nikki Rodriguez, kisses her childhood friend Eliot, portrayed by Naveen Paddock.

Alex, meanwhile, finds himself rejected by Kiley, played by Mya Lowe, who is already in a relationship. And then there’s Cole, who gets into a serious car accident while driving to try to win Jackie back.

With Season 4 currently in production, fans have already started trying to figure out what comes next. LaLonde and Gentry have certainly noticed.

The Stars Have Seen Some Wild Season 4 Theories

When asked about the most surprising fan theories surrounding the show, Gentry had one particular pairing he wasn’t interested in entertaining.

“I mean, some of this Alex-Eliot shipping is a bit nonsensical,” Gentry told Swooon. “I don’t want anything to do with that guy, as well as some of the predictions for Season 4. Those have been interesting.”

LaLonde then brought up one of the biggest theories circulating among viewers: whether Cole will survive the accident and, if he does, whether the crash could leave him with memory loss.

“Does Cole lose his memory?” LaLonde asked.

The actor acknowledged that there is plenty of speculation surrounding what happens to his character following the cliffhanger.

“Does Cole survive? There’s quite an open-ended question there that I’ve seen a lot of speculation about. But as far as weighing in goes, I care not to.”

In other words, fans shouldn’t expect LaLonde to accidentally reveal what Season 4 has in store.

Noah LaLonde Wants Cole to Stay Alive

Although LaLonde isn’t giving away any spoilers, he admitted that he has enjoyed seeing how worried viewers are about Cole.

“It makes me feel warm inside,” he said.

He then quickly clarified that he was talking about his character rather than himself.

“I certainly hope I’m alive — my character,” LaLonde said. “I’d love to stay employed.”

The joke comes at a particularly interesting point for Cole, whose future remains uncertain after the Season 3 finale.

For now, the show’s decision to leave his fate unresolved has given fans plenty of material to debate while Season 4 moves forward.

Alex, Kiley and Dylan Still Have a Complicated Road Ahead

Cole and Jackie aren’t the only relationship fans will be watching.

Season 4 is also expected to continue exploring the complicated dynamic involving Alex, Kiley and Kiley’s boyfriend, Dylan, played by Kolton Stewart.

Gentry has a clear message for viewers who are currently supporting Kiley and Dylan instead of Alex and Kiley.

“I can’t afford to lose another love triangle,” he joked. “So if you’re rallying behind Dylan, you’re a permanent op in my opinion. I need all the support I can get.”

His comment reflects just how much relationship drama remains at the heart of My Life with the Walter Boys.

The Stars Have Some Unusual Ideas for Season 4

When asked what they would personally like to explore in the next season, LaLonde offered an intentionally ridiculous scenario involving Cole, Alex and the zombie-themed live-action video game event featured in Season 3.

“I hope that Cole survives, swiftly gets invited to Blood and Brains, and then Alex and Cole could work everything out whilst plotting to be level 4 with the zombies,” LaLonde said.

Gentry had a similarly tongue-in-cheek response when discussing Alex’s future.

“I want to see if Alex survives in Season 4,” he joked.

He then invented an elaborate explanation for why Alex might have been involved in Cole’s car accident.

“People don’t know this, but he’s actually in the trunk of the car as Cole’s drag racing,” Gentry said.

According to his fictional version of events, there was supposedly a deleted scene in which Cole stopped at Kiley’s house to pick up Alex after Alex had been rejected.

Alex, embarrassed about crying, allegedly chose to hide in the trunk so Cole wouldn’t see him upset.

“And then, well, we all know what ensues after that,” Gentry joked.

Of course, the story was clearly part of the actors’ playful exchange rather than a genuine Season 4 spoiler.

The Forklift Pull-Up Challenge Could Return

One of the more memorable moments from Season 3 involved Alex performing pull-ups on a forklift, creating a scene that LaLonde apparently has no intention of trying to top.

Asked about what viewers could expect from Season 4, LaLonde joked that Cole knows better than to challenge Alex at his own game.

“Cole is wise enough to know when somebody does something as good as it can be done,” he said. “Don’t follow that act. Find your own lane. I’m not topping that forklift scene. I will not be getting forklift certified on this show.”

Gentry, however, had a completely different idea.

Rather than abandoning the forklift challenge, he suggested that Alex and Cole should do it together.

“I’ve been bulking up recently, so I actually would love Cole to be on the other end of the forklift so it doesn’t tip over when I try to pull up on it,” Gentry said.

He imagined the two characters facing each other while performing pull-ups from opposite ends.

“I think it’d be fun to have a big wide shot of us face to face doing pull-ups on each end.”

LaLonde immediately added another detail to the imaginary scene.

“Yeah, just tapping noses at the top,” he joked. “Chin over the bar, Nose over the bar. Muscle up, Season 4.”

What We Actually Know About Season 4

While the actors were happy to joke about zombies, forklifts and characters hiding in car trunks, they remained tight-lipped about the actual storyline.

The biggest confirmed piece of information from their comments is that Season 4 is currently in production. Beyond that, Cole’s fate, the future of Jackie and Cole’s relationship, and the ongoing Alex-Kiley-Dylan triangle remain major questions for viewers.

Season 3 has left the show’s central characters at very different crossroads, giving the next season plenty of unresolved storylines to explore.

For now, fans will have to keep theorizing about whether Cole survives the accident, whether Jackie and Cole can find their way back to each other, and what happens next for Alex and Kiley.

One thing is certain: if LaLonde and Gentry’s playful predictions are anything to go by, the cast is having plenty of fun with the speculation.
