Off Campus star Ella Bright is giving fans a glimpse into what they can expect from the upcoming second season of the Prime Video romance series, revealing that one episode in particular has already become a standout for her.

Bright, who plays Hannah Wells in the adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s popular book series, will return for season two. However, the new season will shift its focus away from Hannah and Garrett Graham’s relationship and instead explore a different couple from the Off Campus universe.

Season two will follow Alli and Dean’s romance, based on The Score, the third novel in Kennedy’s Off Campus book series. The storyline introduces a new chapter for the show while continuing to expand the world of Briar University and its hockey-centered community.

Speaking on the podcast In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele, Bright admitted that even the cast does not always know what is coming next. She explained that the production team only provides actors with a few scripts at a time, meaning they discover the story gradually rather than knowing the entire season in advance.

The actress said that experience was similar to filming the first season, when the cast had only read the opening scripts before joining the project. She described the process as exciting because the actors were able to experience the unfolding story almost like viewers watching the series for the first time.

For season two, Bright revealed that the cast has only received several episodes so far, but one installment has already made a strong impression on her.

“I’m just going to say, episode three, is like my favorite thing I have ever read,” she said, describing the episode as fun, emotional and full of memorable group moments.

Bright also teased that the new season will feature more ensemble scenes, suggesting that the story will not only focus on the central romance but also develop relationships between the wider group of characters.

The actress did not reveal many details about the plot, but her comments suggest that fans can expect a different dynamic from season one. While Hannah and Garrett’s love story introduced audiences to the series, season two will allow other characters and relationships within the Briar University setting to take center stage.
