The romance may be complicated in Ransom Canyon, but several of its stars have much more settled love lives away from Netflix. With Season 2 arriving on July 23, 2026, fans have been looking beyond the drama between Staten Kirkland and Quinn O’Grady to discover who the actors are actually dating or married to in real life.

Created by April Blair, the second season shifts its focus toward community, rebuilding and hope after the conflicts of Season 1. While Josh Duhamel, Minka Kelly and the rest of the ensemble navigate their characters’ tangled relationships onscreen, their personal lives tell very different stories.

Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari

Josh Duhamel, who plays Staten Kirkland, has been married to Audra Mari since September 2022. The couple was first spotted together in 2019, and Mari is a model, television host and former beauty pageant titleholder.

Duhamel previously shared that he knew Mari was the right person for him early in their relationship, highlighting their shared background and love of lake life.

Casey W. Johnson, who plays Kit, has offered fans very little information about his personal life.

His dating history remains largely private, making it unclear whether he is currently in a relationship. Unlike some of his co-stars, Johnson has kept his romantic life away from the public spotlight.

Jack Schumacher and Jennifer Ens

One of the clearest examples of a Ransom Canyon romance crossing from the screen into real life involves Jack Schumacher and Jennifer Ens.

Schumacher plays Yancy Grey, while Ens portrays Ashley Keo. Their relationship first sparked speculation through social media interactions, including heart emojis from Ens on Schumacher’s posts around Valentine’s Day 2024.

Their playful exchanges continued online. Schumacher later called Ens Babeee in one of her posts, prompting her to respond with a cowboy-themed message.
