At just 13 years old, Brianna Cameron is already no stranger to the spotlight. But her latest performance brought her talent to a much bigger stage when she auditioned for Season 30 of “The Voice.”
The Union, New Jersey, singer took the stage during the Season 30 premiere and performed Ike and Tina Turner’s “River Deep – Mountain High.” Her powerful vocals quickly caught the attention of the coaches, with Kelly Clarkson and Riley Green both turning their chairs.

After hearing the young singer perform, Cameron had an important decision to make. In the end, she chose Clarkson as her coach.
“I’m very excited to work with her,” Cameron said after making her choice.
Clarkson was clearly impressed by Cameron’s voice and confidence, especially considering her age.
“I thought you were grown. It was insane,” Clarkson told her. “I can get you to the finale because you have that drive. At 13, to have the sense you have already is incredible.”
Cameron may be young, but she already has an impressive list of performance credits. Before stepping onto “The Voice” stage, she played a young Tina Turner during the national tour of “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.”

She has also appeared on the TV series “The Equalizer,” giving her another connection to one of the show’s coaches.
Queen Latifah recognized Cameron from her previous work and pointed out their connection through New Jersey and “The Equalizer.”
“Briana, all these places you’ve been where we’ve crossed paths, whether it’s the state of New Jersey or ‘The Equalizer,’ you have found your way here to ‘The Voice,’” Latifah said.
The other coaches were impressed as well.
“It takes a huge amount of courage to even attempt to come out, but you did an amazing job,” Adam Levine told Cameron.
Riley also praised the teenager, saying, “I’m extremely impressed by you, and I have no doubt you can sing anything.”

Cameron’s love for performing began long before her “The Voice” audition. In 2019, she won first place in Union’s Got Talent, adding another achievement to her growing resume.
Now, Cameron is taking the next step with Team Kelly.
Her Blind Audition has given her a chance to work with Clarkson and compete against some of the country’s strongest young and experienced singers. And with years of performing already behind her, the 13-year-old has shown that her age may be one of the least important things about her “The Voice” journey.
