NASCAR legend Kyle Busch gave a heartbreaking interview days before his shock death – where he admitted you never know when it’s “your last race.”
The 41-year-old racing driver died on Thursday after being hospitalized for a severe illness.
Busch was a household name for his exploits in Nascar across more than two decades.

He won 234 career races across the Cup Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and Truck Series.
Busch was once again on Victory Lane as he claimed the flag at the Ecosave 200 last Friday.
The Nevada native was fastest on the day at the Denver Motor Speedway.

And his interview after the race now takes on a hard-hitting meaning after his shock passing.
“You never know when the last one is,” Busch told reporters after the race.
“I know all too well, unfortunately, with the Cup stuff.
“But here with the Truck stuff now, it’s awesome to be part of Spire Motorsports.”

Nascar and Busch’s family announced his death Thursday with a statement saying they were “heartbroken” by his loss.
“A future Hall of Famer, Kyle was a rare talent, one who comes along once in a generation,” the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and NASCAR said in a joint statement on X.
“He was fierce, he was passionate, he was immensely skilled, and he cared deeply about the sport and fans.
“Throughout a career that spanned more than two decades, Kyle set records in national series wins, won championships at NASCAR’s highest level and fostered the next generation of drivers as an owner in the Truck Series.

“His sharp wit and competitive spirit sparked a deep emotional connection with race fans of every age, creating the proud and loyal ‘Rowdy Nation.’“
Busch is survived by his wife, Samantha, who he wed in December 2010.
The pair have two children – 11-year-old son Brexton and 4-year-old daughter Lennix.
The exact cause of Busch’s death has yet to be publicly revealed.
He was dealing with a sinus issue less than two weeks before his death, requesting medical attention during the final moments at Watkins Glen International on May 10, per the NY Post.
