Keith Urban has fully embraced a relaxed, yacht-inspired vibe in a new Instagram clip promoting his upcoming album “Flow State.” In the video, the former American Idol judge appears on a boat, casually playing electric guitar and singing a short excerpt of his version of Robbie Dupree’s classic “Steal Away,” giving fans a taste of the project’s laid-back sound.

The album “Flow State” features a mix of reimagined yacht rock classics along with a new collaboration with Michael McDonald titled “We Go Back.” Urban originally introduced the project in Nashville as a small, fun idea, but it gradually expanded into a full studio album as more recordings were added over time.
The tracklist includes covers such as “Baby Come Back,” “Just the Two of Us,” and “Summer Breeze,” along with collaborations featuring artists like Little Big Town and John Mayer. The project reflects Urban’s creative approach of exploring a relaxed musical style while working closely with other well-known musicians.

Fans have responded enthusiastically to the preview clip, praising the smooth, nostalgic feel of the music and expressing excitement for the full release. “Flow State” is scheduled for digital release on June 12, followed by a vinyl edition on July 10.
