Brianna Cameron may be only 13, but she already has a voice big enough to turn heads on The Voice.
The teenage singer closed out the Season 30 premiere with a powerful performance of Tina Turner’s River Deep – Mountain High. Her audition was so impressive that Kelly Clarkson and Riley Green both turned their chairs.

Once the coaches learned Cameron was just 13, Adam Levine and Queen Latifah immediately regretted not turning for her.
“I could barely even speak when I was 13,” Levine said, praising Cameron for having the courage to take on such a challenging song.

Queen Latifah had even more reason to wish she had turned after Cameron revealed her connection to the entertainer.
The New Jersey teenager previously played a young Tina Turner during the Broadway tour of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. She also appeared as a guest on Queen Latifah’s show, The Equalizer.
Queen Latifah pointed out that their paths had crossed several times before Cameron finally arrived on The Voice.
“You are meant to be on this show in this moment,” she told the young singer.
Meanwhile, Riley Green called Cameron’s voice the biggest he had heard on the show and said he had no doubt she could sing anything.
Kelly Clarkson was just as impressed.
“Ma’am. I thought you were grown,” Clarkson told Cameron after the performance.

The coach praised Cameron’s vocal runs and the rasp in her voice before reminding her that she has won The Voice four times and knows what it takes to reach the finale.
“I can get you to the finale,” Clarkson told her.
Green knew he had to pull out something special. His secret weapon? His dog Carl.
The country star brought Carl onto the stage and even knelt beside his dog while asking Cameron what Carl would want her to do.
But even Carl could not change her mind.

Cameron ultimately chose Kelly Clarkson as her coach, leaving Green heartbroken.
After the win, Clarkson joked that Cameron might be a cat person, or perhaps she would prefer Clarkson’s dogs, Henry and Charlie, over Carl.
Green later blamed his own dog for losing Cameron to Clarkson.
“Carl, you picked Kelly over me twice today. We gotta work on this Carl,” he joked.
Brianna Cameron has now officially joined Team Kelly, and after that powerful first audition, the 13-year-old is already one of the young singers to watch on The Voice Season 30.
