Alabama singer Joe Henley, 19, shares an emotional message after his viral The Voice audition

Alabama singer Joe Henley, 19, is getting a wave of love from fans after his viral The Voice audition, and his latest Instagram post gives viewers a more personal look at what the experience means to him.

The teenage country singer shared an emotional message centered on his faith after his Season 30 Blind Audition, where he performed Travis Tritt’s Anymore and turned all four coaches’ chairs.

Joe ultimately chose Riley Green after Riley and Kelly Clarkson battled for the young singer. During the audition, Riley even grabbed a guitar and joined Joe for My Way, creating a moment that quickly became a fan favorite.

Now, Joe is opening up to his followers with a heartfelt Instagram post:

“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”
