The South Korean drama ” The Scandal ” garnered attention immediately upon its release, with the steamy scenes featuring actor Ji Chang Wook becoming a hot topic of discussion among viewers.

In the drama, Ji Chang Wook plays Jo Won, known as Joseon’s number one womanizer, and has many intimate and passionate scenes with his female co-stars. The actor also directly performed highly daring scenes, almost completely naked.

In an interview on September 22nd, Ji Chang Wook admitted, “Intimate scenes are very stressful for actors.”

The actor said that his sex scene with Nana was filmed after they had already worked together on many other segments of the film. The prior bonding helped the two actors feel less nervous when performing the intimate scene.

“We had already filmed all the scenes with Nana before shooting the sex scene. Even so, we couldn’t be comfortable because there were so many crew members on set,” he shared.

In response to these reviews, Ji Chang Wook shared: “I am very sorry. I am saddened and regretful that my work received negative reviews, but this is also a reaction I had anticipated.”

However, he emphasized: “As an actor, this is a project worth trying in my life.”

Ji Chang Wook also accepts the possibility that “The Scandal” might not be a work that audiences will remember for a long time.
