Howie Mandel made his enthusiasm for America’s Got Talent finalist Hundred Fingers impossible to miss during Tuesday’s live finale, even offering his own money to help the South Korean magic group secure a Las Vegas show.

The moment quickly turned chaotic when Mel B began offering her own feedback on the performance. Mandel repeatedly interrupted her, at one point reaching over and knocking her microphone aside.

Howie Mandel Offers To Fund A Vegas Show

Hundred Fingers was among the 10 acts performing during Tuesday’s finale, the last episode in which viewers could vote for their favorite contestants.

Mandel was especially impressed by the group’s magic performance.

“Unbelievable. I just wanna say, that is the best magic show I’ve ever seen.”

He went on to tell the performers that he felt like their “proud American father” and suggested they deserved their own Las Vegas show even if they did not win the competition.

Mandel then made an unexpected offer.

“If nobody offers you it, I’m saying right now, I’d like to put up my own money and produce your Vegas show.”

Mel B’s Criticism Leads To A Chaotic Exchange

Mel B also praised Hundred Fingers but initially admitted that she had not been particularly impressed with the group earlier in the competition.

“OK, so I wasn’t that keen on you before.”

Mandel immediately questioned her.

“What is wrong with you?”

Mel B asked him to let her finish before explaining that the group had delivered their strongest performance yet. She praised the different levels incorporated into the routine and said she appreciated the fact that the performance had a story she could follow.

But when she announced that she had one criticism, Mandel stepped in again.

“Don’t listen to this part.”

Mel B continued anyway, pointing out that some elements of the performance were not completely in sync and suggesting the group would notice the issue when watching the performance back.

That was when Mandel reached for her microphone and knocked it over.

Mel B quickly picked it up and continued speaking. She ultimately concluded that it had been a great performance, but Mandel then grabbed the microphone from her hand.

Sofia Vergara, meanwhile, described Hundred Fingers’ performance as a “perfect performance for the finals of AGT.”

The chaotic exchange continued when Mandel’s red “X” buzzer suddenly went off. Both Mandel and Mel B appeared surprised, with Mandel pointing toward her before covering his head with his hands.

Simon Cowell Sends A Message From Home

The episode also featured a message from Simon Cowell, who was absent from the finale while recovering from back surgery.

Host Terry Crews read Cowell’s message to the finalists.

“I wanted to wish all the finalists tonight the best of luck. I’m so sad that I won’t be there in person. But I will be watching from home.”

Cowell also addressed guest judge KSI with a playful warning about Mel B.

“And KSI, hold on to your water when Mel B is around.”

KSI, the musician, YouTube star and boxer, joined Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel and Mel B as a guest judge for the finale.

Ten Acts Compete For The Season 21 Title

Hundred Fingers was one of 10 finalists performing for America’s votes during Tuesday’s show.

The other acts included Acro Canine Crew, Come Here, Geno Ploeger, Lai Noelle, Nene Royal, Olivia Befus, Royal Lasers, Unitree and Veronika Goroshkova.

Voting remained open until Wednesday morning, with the Season 21 winner scheduled to be announced Wednesday night on NBC.
