Taylor Swift made fashion history as she said “I do” to Travis Kelce, wearing a custom designed Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding gown for one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings in recent memory.
The 36 year old global superstar married the Kansas City Chiefs tight end on Friday during a lavish ceremony at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, where roughly 1,000 family members, friends and celebrity guests gathered to celebrate the couple.

Swift’s bridal gown was created exclusively for the occasion by Jonathan Anderson, the newly appointed creative director of Dior’s women’s, men’s and haute couture collections. The dress also marked a major milestone for the designer, becoming the first couture wedding gown he has created for a world famous celebrity since taking over the French fashion house.
Kelce also wore a custom Dior design, making the newlyweds perfectly coordinated for their big day.
The bride completed her look with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and elegant Cartier jewelry. One of the most eye catching accessories, however, remained the engagement ring Kelce designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.

The ring features an old mine cut diamond set on a gold band and has become one of the most talked about celebrity engagement rings since the couple announced their engagement.
Looking back, some fans now believe Swift quietly revealed her choice of designer months before the wedding.

In recent public appearances, the singer was repeatedly seen carrying Dior handbags, including a black Le Cigale bag to a New York Knicks game in May and a butter yellow Lady Dior bag earlier in the spring.
At the time, many viewed the accessories as simply another stylish addition to her wardrobe. Following confirmation that Dior created her wedding gown, however, those fashion choices have taken on new meaning.
Reports earlier this week suggested several luxury fashion houses competed for the opportunity to design Swift’s wedding dress before Anderson’s vision was ultimately selected.
The ceremony itself also reflected the couple’s desire to keep the celebration personal.
Rather than following the traditional wedding format, Swift and Kelce decided against having bridesmaids and groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s younger brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, stood beside him as Best Man.
Another personal touch came from actor and comedian Adam Sandler, a longtime friend of the couple who officiated the ceremony.
The pair exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones and an impressive guest list of Hollywood stars, musicians and athletes during what quickly became one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year.
New York City also held special significance for the bride. Swift has called the city home since 2014, making Madison Square Garden a fitting setting for the next chapter of her life.
After months of speculation surrounding what she would wear, Swift ultimately delivered a timeless bridal look while also helping launch a new chapter for Jonathan Anderson at Dior, turning one of fashion’s biggest moments of the year into a memorable piece of celebrity history.
