Chuck Norris was a father of five before his death on March 19.

The Walker, Texas Ranger star, who died at 86 years old after a brief hospitalization, and his then-wife Diane Holechek welcomed their first child in 1962, Mike Norris. Three years later, the couple welcomed a second son together, Eric.

After 30 years of marriage, Norris and Holechek split in 1988.

Norris got remarried to Gena O’Kelley, a businesswoman, actor and former model, in 1998 and welcomed twins Dakota and Danilee in 2001.

The stuntman also revealed in 2004 that he discovered he had another daughter, Dina, from a previous relationship.

Mike Norris, 63

Norris and his then-wife, Holechek, welcomed Mike Norris on Oct. 4, 1962. Like his father, he went into the entertainment business.

Mike was in a few episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger alongside his dad. He also directed Birdie & Bogey, AmeriGeddon and The Crossroads of Hunter Wilde.

He and his wife, Valerie, welcomed three children together. In January 2026, Valerie announced on Instagram that her daughter was expecting a child, making them grandparents for the first time.

Dina Norris DiCiolli, 61

Norris revealed in a 2004 interview with Entertainment Tonight that he learned later in life that he had a daughter, Dina, who was born in 1964 from a previous affair. She reached out to him when she was 26.

“I was going through my mail at home and I see this letter and I open it up,” he recounted. “It’s from Dina … and she says, ‘I’m your daughter from a past experience,’ and she said, ‘I found out you were my father when I was 16, but my mother said you were married and we shouldn’t interfere with your family.’ ”

Though he said he was intitially hesitant to meet up, the two did eventually meet.

“I look at her and it’s so amazing because I’m looking at her and she’s staring at me and we just sort of gravitate toward each other and we just went into each other’s arms and started crying,” he said.

The two developed a close relationship, with Norris posting a photo on Facebook with Dina, her husband and two sons on a family vacation in Kauai, Hawaii, in 2015.

Eric Norris, 60

Norris and Holechek welcomed their second son, Eric Norris, together on May 20, 1965.

Though his dad was famous later in Eric’s life, he told ESPN in 2012 that he felt that Norris was a present father.

“For most of my life, he was just a karate instructor that owned a bunch of karate schools and became the world champion of karate,” he said. “It wasn’t until I was in high school that he started to get famous. It was a normal, ordinary upbringing for me.”

Eric grew up to become a NASCAR racer and Hollywood stuntman. He got his start doing stunts in 1985, working on his dad’s show, Walker, Texas Ranger.

In 2002, Eric was the NASCAR Winston West Series champion and even had plans to pursue racing full-time.

“I put movies on the back burner and tried to race full-time, but unfortunately it didn’t work out,” he told ESPN.

Eric has a wife, Stephanie, and four children: Camrynn, Chloe, Chantz and Cash.

Dakota Alan Norris, 24

Norris and his wife, O’Kelley, welcomed son Dakota on Aug. 30, 2001.

Dakota followed in the footsteps of his father, earning a 5th-degree black belt according to his Instagram bio.

Dakota frequently collaborated with his dad, sharing photos of the two working on fight sequences together on Instagram. In November 2025, he married his girlfriend of seven years.

Norris’ youngest son shared a tribute to his father after his death, writing on Instagram that he was “the greatest father God could have ever given me and the finest man I’ve ever known.”

Danilee Kelly Norris, 24

Norris and O’Kelley welcomed daughter Danilee (Dakota’s twin) on Aug. 30, 2001.

In February 2026, Danilee got engaged to her boyfriend of nearly a decade.

She had a close relationship with her father, calling him her “hero” in a Father’s Day tribute on Instagram in 2020.
