After she celebrated and awaited her score, Glenn posted a story on her Instagram account before she did her post-skate interview with NBC.

The post was a painting with the words “I have given my all” written on the image. The image perfectly captured her effort as she did indeed give it her all.

She scored a 147.52 in her free skate, giving her a total of 214.91 points on the day. She made one mistake,e putting a hand down on her final jump, a triple loop, but she did not fall and delivered a performance that was nearly perfect.

What did Amber Glenn say after her performance?

She muttered the words “so close” after her program, though she was beaming during her post-skate interview.

“I made myself be happy about it,” Glenn said. “Deep down, of course, I know I could have done better, but I told myself enjoy it. I had my moment and my spiral, and told myself you just skated, stayed on your feet at the Olympics. I’m proud I had my moment.”

“That six-year-old girl who never thought I’d ever be here. I told myself to go out there, do your job, and I was working towards being able to have that [spiral] moment in the sequence. That was my reward. So it was chasing a goal.”
