Was anyone really surprised?
It was halftime of the NFL’s Christmas Day game in Minnesota between the Vikings and the Detroit Lions.
Snoop was in charge of the festivities.

The show included Martha Stewart, Snoop, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Lainey Wilson and Andrea Bocelli.
Yeah, it was pretty great.

Snoop Dogg himself took to X after the show to share his thoughts.
He had just two words for the world:
The crew capped the show with White Christmas.
Football fans were left thoroughly entertained by the sheer scope of guests in a Christmas Day halftime show headlined by Snoop Dogg.
At the midway point of the game between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings, a special show was put on to celebrate the season.
The fascinating collaboration began with a brief pre-recorded intro from Martha Stewart, followed by the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper performing some of his classic hits with a Christmas-y twist.
But what truly surprised was the supporting cast that followed behind him. Snoop was followed by the Korean group HUNTRIX – the musical trio behind the popular Netflix film ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ – to perform ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’.
Then, as if two wildly different genres wasn’t enough, country music star Laney Wilson then arrived on a silver sled to sing the hit ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’.
Finally, to truly make this one of the most genre-bending ensembles possibly put together, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo closed out the show with a duet of ‘White Christmas’.
NFL fans were left stunned by the scope of Snoop Dogg’s Christmas halftime show
After Snoop performed, the musical trio behind the ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ were brought out
Fans at home were left in shock at the sheer number of performers, the eclectic blend of musical styles and how the show progressed.
‘How did we get from Snoop Dogg to Andrea Bocelli?’ one user posted to X.
Another comment read, ‘No like what do you mean Andrea Bocelli, Snoop Dogg, and the singers from K-Pop Demon Hunters are all singing together on the same stage??’
‘I didn’t have Snoop, Kpop, Lainey Wilson, and the Bocelli’s on my Christmas halftime bingo card,’ wrote another user.
Another post read, ‘How do we go from Snoop Dogg to some random country to Andrea and Matteo Bocelli? This is insane.’
But in spite of the wild ride, many fans were left singing their praises for the performance.
‘Snoop Dogg’s Christmas halftime show is better than a lot of the recent SB halftime shows,’ wrote one user.
One posted, ‘Good luck Bad Bunny and Superbowl. That halftime show was EPIC #Snoop.’
Country music star Lainey Wilson sang next to add to the clashing of the genres
To conclude, Italian opera star Andrea Bocelli and his son Mateo sang ‘White Christmas’
Fans praised the show, with some even predicting it’d be better than Bad Bunny’s upcoming halftime performance in February for Super Bowl LX
‘Someone took their afternoon Christmas nap and is waking up to this Snoop Dogg Christmas halftime spectacle. They’re going to be confused if they’re drunk, high, dreaming, or all 3 and I think that’s wonderful,’ read one joking comment.
A different post read, ‘Whoever drew up this Snoop Dogg halftime show on the Netflix NFL broadcast possesses a level of brain rot previously unseen. This is impressively cooked.’
‘Snoop Dogg really assembled the Avengers for this halftime show,’ a comment said.
Finally, one stunned fan posted, ‘This Snoop Dogg halftime show has no business being as good as it is.’
