ori Kelly is going to be a mom! The Grammy-winning singer, 32, is expecting her first baby with husband André Murillo, she exclusively confirmed to People.
The big news comes during a whirlwind season of highs, both personally and professionally, as Kelly continues touring Europe with Ed Sheeran and gears up to release her most personal music yet. “We are just so grateful for what’s to come and can’t wait to meet this little gift from God,” she told People.
To accompany the announcement, Kelly dropped a heartfelt video montage on Instagram, showing sweet moments with Murillo at home and on the beach. The video is soundtracked by a romantic, unreleased song that ends with her singing, “Let’s make a baby.”
The couple was instantly showered with love on social media from fans and friends. “What a blessing!!” one wrote, while another added, “I can already hear you singing soulful lullabies to your baby.”
Kelly and Murillo, a 35-year-old former pro basketball player, married in May 2018 after two years of dating. Kelly once called their wedding “the most magical day ever.”
A Resilient Few Years for the Mom-to-Be
This exciting chapter follows a challenging one. In July 2023, Kelly was unexpectedly hospitalized after passing out due to blood clots in her legs and lungs. According to People, she said the experience helped her realize just how fragile life can be.
Still, she’s remained unstoppable. Kelly dropped her self-titled album, “TORI.”, in April 2024 and delivered a show-stopping cover of “Defying Gravity” earlier this year that went viral on Instagram.
She also honored Mariah Carey at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, singing a medley of Carey’s greatest hits, per reports. While Carey’s reactions at the event went viral, she later took to Instagram to say she was “so beyond grateful” for Kelly and Muni Long, calling them “uber-talented” and saying their performances made her heart “so full of joy.”
Reflecting on the whirlwind year she’s had, Kelly told People: “This year has already been full of highs — getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career and now getting to start a family with my amazing husband.”

The couple has shared glimpses of their life together over the years, including bringing home their toy poodle, Frodo, in 2019, and celebrating milestones like anniversaries and holidays together.
