The Voice season 29 just wrapped, and we’re already turning our attention to season 30—a major milestone that could bring big changes.
With the new season expected to premiere in fall 2026, fans are bracing for a few surprises. One major reveal already came from Adam Levine, who shared his plans to return to the show for the new season. But what about Kelly Clarkson, who was also a mentor in season 29? We may have a clue.
Back in November 2025, Kelly announced that she would be extending her popular Studio Sessions residency in Las Vegas through late 2026. What’s more, she revealed that the shows would take place from July 17 to August 15, 2026, along with new dates from November 7 through November 15, 2026.
“New Vegas shows have been added!” she wrote at the time on Instagram. “Come see me at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace 🏛️🎰.”
The exciting news had fans riled up on social media.
“See you in July 😍😍😍😍,” one person wrote in the comments. “Omg new dates sign me up this would be amazing as a first concert!!!!” another agreed. “Mind officially blown 🥰,” a different follower added.

Now, why is this news important for the future of The Voice? The Blind Auditions portion of the show is traditionally filmed ahead of time. Meaning: If The Voice season 30 airs in the fall, the first episodes will be filmed sometime in the summer. And let’s not forget—Kelly still has to film the final episodes of The Kelly Clarkson Show before that ends in the fall, too.
If that’s the case, well … Kelly may be too busy to do all of these gigs at once.

We admit this is only a working theory about Kelly’s time on The Voice, and we’ll just have to wait for her to announce what’s next. After all, she took some time between her last appearance in season 23 and becoming a mentor in season 29.
We’re excited to see what’s to come!
