Han Seo Hee has briefly responded to news that former BIGBANG member T.O.P and actress Nana are officially dating, drawing attention because of her previous connection to T.O.P and the legal case involving the two nearly a decade ago.

On October 2, T.O.P and Nana’s relationship became public, with representatives for both sides confirming that the pair are currently together. According to a statement from T.O.P’s side, the two first met while working on a music video and gradually became closer before developing a romantic relationship around June. Nana’s agency, Sublime, also confirmed that the two are currently in a relationship.

Shortly after the news broke, Han Seo Hee held a question-and-answer session with followers on social media. One user sent her a message saying that T.O.P and Nana were dating. Her response was remarkably brief: “Be happy~.”

She did not add any further explanation or comment about the couple, leaving the short message to speak for itself. The response nevertheless attracted attention because Han Seo Hee and T.O.P were previously involved in the same marijuana-related legal case.

The case dates back to 2016, when T.O.P was investigated after authorities discovered that he had used marijuana with Han Seo Hee. T.O.P was subsequently sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years. Han Seo Hee also faced legal proceedings and received a suspended prison sentence in connection with marijuana use. She later faced separate drug-related legal proceedings and was sentenced to imprisonment.

Their past connection has continued to attract public attention over the years, particularly whenever either person becomes involved in a new controversy or major development. In this case, however, Han Seo Hee did not appear to revisit their past or make any negative comments about T.O.P’s new relationship.

Meanwhile, T.O.P and Nana have both acknowledged the relationship. Nana also addressed the news directly through a fan communication platform, saying that she was surprised and somewhat embarrassed by the sudden attention. She indicated that the two would continue their relationship in a positive and healthy way.

The relationship reportedly began after their professional connection through T.O.P’s music video. Nana appeared in the video for “Wanjeon Michyeosseo! (Studio54),” a track from T.O.P’s first solo full-length album, before the pair reportedly grew closer in the following months.

For Han Seo Hee, her one-line response has become another talking point surrounding the announcement. Rather than offering details about her past with T.O.P or discussing the new couple further, she simply wished them well.

With T.O.P and Nana now publicly acknowledging their relationship, attention has shifted toward the couple themselves, while Han Seo Hee’s unusually concise reaction remains a notable footnote to the announcement.
