The next semester at Briar University now has an official start date. Prime Video has announced that Season 2 of Off Campus will premiere on Wednesday, April 28, 2027, with the upcoming episodes turning the spotlight toward Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes.
Based on Elle Kennedy’s best-selling novels, the college hockey drama follows the players of Briar University and the friendships and romantic relationships surrounding the team. While Season 1 centered on the fake relationship that gradually became real between hockey star Garrett Graham, played by Belmont Cameli, and Hannah Wells, portrayed by Ella Bright, the second season will explore the growing attraction between Dean and Allie.
The release date announcement came Thursday, with Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla, who play Dean and Allie, sharing the news in an Instagram video. Their characters’ romance is already familiar to fans who watched the first season, but the new episodes will give their complicated connection a much bigger role.
Dean and Allie’s Complicated Romance Takes Center Stage
In Season 1, Allie, Hannah’s best friend and roommate, became involved with Dean, one of Garrett’s fellow hockey players. What began as a casual fling gradually developed into deeper feelings for both of them.
However, Allie was determined not to become too emotionally attached. She insisted that they continue seeing other people, creating tension between the pair as their feelings became increasingly difficult to ignore.
The Season 1 finale left their relationship in an especially complicated position. Dean discovered that the man Allie had slept with was Hunter Davenport, played by Charlie Evans — someone Dean strongly dislikes. That revelation sets up another layer of conflict for the next season, as the characters must confront their feelings and the consequences of their decisions.
Their storyline is based on The Score, the third novel in Kennedy’s Off Campus series, which focuses on Dean and Allie’s relationship. Readers familiar with the book will have a chance to see how the television adaptation brings their romance and its emotional complications to life.
Who Is Returning for ‘Off Campus’ Season 2?
Alongside Abdalla and Kalyn, Season 2 will feature returning cast members Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli. The ensemble also includes Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, India Fowler, Julia Sarah-Stone, Khobe Clarke, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Phillipa Soo, Charlie Evans and Shay Rudolph.
Series creator Louisa Levy and Gina Fattore will continue as co-showrunners and executive producers, helping guide the next chapter of the adaptation.
